每年的牛仔价格屠宰纪念奖学金书籍销售通常在3月份举行第一个星期三，直到下午2点至下午2点在书店前面的地区。

让屠宰was a member of the ACC English Department and the Coordinator for University Transfer until she died of cancer in 2004. The following year the English Department held a sale to sell many of Jean’s books to raise funds for a University Transfer scholarship in her honor. The sale was so popular that the English department continued the sale by accepting book and movie donations from the ACC community to re-sell.
